We believe in One True God the only eternal true God; The One Lord God of Israel is the Lord Jesus of the New Testament. (Deuteronomy 6:4, St. John 13:13-14). That Jesus Christ is the manifestation of the One True God (I Timothy 3:16). That the Lord God that said, I Am He., is the Lord Jesus who said, If ye believe not that I Am He, Ye shall die in your sins. (Isaiah 43:10, St. John 8:23-24).
THE SON OF GOD
We believe that the One true God Jehovah took upon Himself the form of man through the Virgin birth, and became the Son of God, Matthew 1:23, I Timothy 3:16. That He came to His own, and His own received Him not (John 1:11). We believe that in Jesus dwelleth all the fullness of the God Head Bodily (Colossians 2:9).
SALVATION
Salvation comes from repentance, that is, to turn from your old life of sin, have a changed mind and heart. Confessing & Forsaking your sins, you are justified though faith in the Lord Jesus Christ (Romans 5:1). That Repentance and remission of sin should be preached in His Name among all nations, beginning at Jerusalem.
WATER BAPTISM
The Bible mode of baptism is by Immersion, and according to the Word of God, should be done in the Name of our Lord Jesus Christ (Acts 2:38, 8:16, 10:48, 19:5), Thus fulfilling Matthew 28:19.
BAPTISM OF THE HOLY SPIRIT
John the Baptist said, He would baptize you with the Holy Ghost & Fire, (Matthew 3:11 and Luke 24:49). Jesus said, They should tarry in Jerusalem till they be endued with power from on high. Also, Jesus told them not to depart from Jerusalem till they were baptized with the Holy Ghost (Acts 1:4,5). The commandment was fulfilled in Acts 2:1-4. God giving them a supernatural sign of speaking in other tongues. Speaking in other tongues was a sign given to the Gentiles when they received the Holy Ghost (Acts 10:45-46). Also to the Disciples at Ephesus (Acts 19:1-6). We believe God is no respecter of persons (Acts 10:34-35 and Romans 2:11). What He gave the early church, He will give us today (Acts 2:38-39).
FUNDATMENTAL DOCTRINE
Our Fundamental Doctrine shall be the Bible standard of full salvation, which is the water baptism by immersion in the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ. And baptism of the Holy Ghost, with the evidence of speaking in other tongues as the Spirit gives utterance. The five fold ministry, Apostles, Prophets, Evangelists, Pastors, and Teachers for the perfecting of the saints, till we all come in unity of the faith.
We admonish all the brethren that they shall not contend for their different views to the disunity of the Body.
SACRAMENT OR COMMUNION
We believe in the following command of our Lord Jesus. He said, I have given you an example that ye shall do as I have done to you. St. John 13:15. After supper ended on the night of His betrayal, He took bread and blessed it and gave to His disciples. And said, This is my body which is broken for you. Also, He gave them the cup and said, This is the New Testament in my blood which is shed for you. Luke 22:19-20. Paul instructed the church to observe it. I Corinthians 11:23-24. We believe in taking the bread and the fruit of the vine, literally, as emblems of His Broken Body and Shed Blood.
FOOT WASHING
When the Passover supper was ended, we read in John 13:4-5. He rose from supper and laid aside His garments and took a towel and girded Himself. After that He poured water into a basin, And Began to wash the disciples’ feet. And to wipe them with the towel wherewith He was girded. Then He said, If I your Lord and Master have washed your feet ye ought also to wash one another’s feet. For I have given you an example, that ye should do as I have done to you. Since Jesus gave us an example we believe it is good to follow His example and manifest a spirit of humility.
HEALING
We believe that Jesus Christ is the same, Yesterday, today, and forever (Hebrews 13:8). He gave His disciples power to cast out devils, and to cure diseases (Luke 9:1). Also He said, The believer would cast out devils, and lay hands on the sick and they would get well (Mark 16:16-18). James wrote to the churches and said Is any sick among you, Let him call for the Elders of the Church. And let them pray over him with oil in the Name of the Lord. And the prayer of faith shall save the sick, the Lord shall raise Him up and He said, to confess our sins to one another that we may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much (James 5:14-16). By His stripes, ye are healed (Isaiah 53:5 and I Peter 2:24).
HOLINESS
Every child of God should pattern his or her life after our Lord Jesus Christ. For God’s word says, For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men, teaching that denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and Godly in this present world (Titus 2:11-12). He that hath the love of the world hath not the love of the Father, 1 John 2:15-17. Hebrews 12:14 says, Follow peace with all men, and holiness without which no man shall see the Lord. In all areas of our walk with God we should maintain a Godly lifestyle and all Christians should conduct themselves as becometh saints of God.
CONSCIENTIOUS SCRUPLES
We recognize the institution of human government as being of divine ordination, and in so doing, affirm unswerving loyalty to our government. However, we take a definite stand regarding the bearing of arms, or taking of human life. We believe in following the command of our Lord Jesus, which says, “Follow peace with all men” (Hebrews 12:14, Matthew 26:52, Romans 12:19). Thou shalt not kill, Exodus 20:13. We will obey the command of our government to do all we can to maintain it. Except to participate in the combatant service, or Armed Insurrection, or the taking of human life.
TITHING
We believe tithing to be God’s plan to provide for His work. Tithing stated by Abraham the man of faith, came through the law of Moses, was practiced by Israel when they were right with God. Tithing is still practiced by those who are with God today. Tithing was endorsed by Jesus (Matthew 23:23). Do not rob God (Malachi 3:8-10)
THE MILLENNIUM
We believe that the distress in the land today will grow worse until there shall be a time of trouble such as never was from the beginning of time. And that the days of tribulation will be followed by a reign of peace on earth for 1,000 years (Revelation 20:1-5, Matthew 5:5, Daniel 7:27, Micah 4:1-2).
FINAL JUDGEMENT
After the 1,000 years are finished, there shall be a final resurrection of the dead, who will stand before God to be judged, and all those whose names are not found in the Book of Life, shall be cast into the lake of fire, which God prepared for the Devil and his angels (Revelation 20:7-15, 21:8, Matthew 25:41).
